Spray control CBIMV-S seriesOur small capacity fine fog nozzles are pneumatic nozzles. We divide our pneumatic nozzles into three categories depending on the nozzle air supply before it mixes with a liquid:
- compressed air driven nozzles,
- air blower driven nozzles, and
- special pneumatic nozzles.
Compressed air is a form of energy storage due to its ability to perform work when decompressed. Moreover, the production of compressed air is carried out, for the most part, with electric power through a compressor.
Besides, another great advantage of the use of IKEUCHI’s nozzles is that they have a lower consumption of compressed air flow in comparison to free exhaust pipes, thus reducing the installation’s operating costs.
What are the benefits of the small capacity fine fog nozzles?
Our small capacity fine fog nozzles are compressed air driven nozzles. Their liquid feeding system depends on the liquid pressure. Thus, they can spray a liquid in tiny droplets, with a droplet diameter smaller than 100 μ. This type of spraying is also called fine atomization. Furthermore, these series are useful numerous applications such as:
- spraying chemicals;
- cooling gas or thin plates;
- humidifying;
- dust suppression.
The spray capacity is the water flow rate sprayed from the nozzle. One of the features of pneumatic spray nozzles is to spray at extremely small capacity, such as 0.1 L/hour. Another feature of the small capacity fine fog nozzles is that they are very suitable for efficient spraying and humidity control.
At IKEUCHI, we provide the fundamentals to select the optimal nozzle for your application based on their characteristics. When selecting the nozzle, we advise you based on your required spray angle, spray capacity, optimum spray pattern, and spray distribution.
