IKEUCHI Europe at SMT Connect 2024
SMTconnect is held every year at the large messe area in Nuremberg, in Germany. This year it took place from the 11th to the 13th of June. SMTconnect is an international trade fair focused on electronic manufacturing. The fair serves as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and showcasing the latest advancements in surface-mount technology (SMT) and other related fields.
The AKIMist experience
After a few years without exhibitions due to COVID restrictions, Ikeuchi Europe was finally able to join the trade fair scene again. At our 20m² stand, we were able to display both a portable and a wall-mounted AKIMist. Both units were spraying continously throughout the tradefair, and visitors were able to experience the non-wetting capabilities first-hand.
SMTconnect in numbers
This year, there were more than 7100 visitors at the SMT Connect. 34% of these visitors were international, as expected in this field. Besides from Ikeuchi, there were 164 other exhibitors covering the 15,000 m² large area. The PCIM trade fair (Power Electronics, Intelligent Motion, Renewable Energy and Energy Management) was held at the same time in the neighbouring halls. With more than 18,000 visitors, this trade fair is well-visited and Ikeuchi’s stand could benefit from many of these visitors as well.
