Ikeuchi at BrauBeviale 2024
BrauBeviale is held every second year in Nuremberg in Germany, and this year it took place from November 26th to 28th. It’s one of the leading trade fairs for beer brewing, wine making, and other spirits, and attracts many visitors from all over Europe.
Ikeuchi Europe at BrauBeviale
Ikeuchi Europe went to Nuremberg with the whole team to prepare the stand and get ready for the opening on Tuesday. After everything was setup, we went to celebrate with a nice Japanese dinner consisting of Ramen noodle soep. Tuesday afternoon, our French partner Eric Delmau from Tech-Elitt also joined our stand. With a wide number of projects behind him for wine cellar humidification with AKIMist®, Eric was a great addition to the team.

BrauBeviale
BrauBeviale had more than 900 exhibitors and around 32.000 visitors this year. Most of the visitors (around 1/3) are involved in the beer brewery industry, but a significant amount are also wine producers or producers of other spirits and softdrinks. Despite of its German origin, BrauBeviale is known for being very international, and more than half of the exhibitors are non-german.
In 2023, BrauBeviale merged with Drinktec, which is the largest global trade fair for beverages. It has a broader scope than BrauBeviale as it includes all types of beverages and liquid foods. Drinktec will take place in mid-September next year.
Spray nozzle solutions for beer breweries
Ikeuchi Europe came to BrauBeviale to exhibit our Clean-in-place and humidification solutions for the beer and wine industry. During the fair, we exhibited one of our tank cleaners, which are often used by beer brewers to automatically clean their yeast tanks. We also presented our spray 7-CP-series-bottle cleaner with 7 solid streams and a high impact force, and our AJP spray nozzle system for pasteurization of beer.

Humidification control for wine cellars
Our flagship product, AKIMist® dry fog humidifier, was also a part of our exhibition stand. It is used by several wine farmers in France to control the humidity level in their wine-cellars, which made it a natural addition to BrauBeviale. The recommended humidification level in a wine cellar in between 60-65% and a failure to maintain this level could lead to a reduction in quality and taste, and excessive evaporation.

Our partner, Florian Schneider from ASK-group in Germany, came to visit us during BrauBeviale.
BrauBeviale was a great opportunity for us to present our spray nozzle solutions to the beer brewing and wine making industries. We got to speak to many different people from various backgrounds and countries and learned more about the customer needs in this business. The next BrauBeviale will take place in November 2026, and we look forward to be there again.
